Techniquest is delighted to be continuing its long-term partnership with Petrosains, The Discovery Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia by providing a further two outreach kits.
Petrosains model of outreach, using Play Smart hubs across Malaysia as a base from which to provide informal learning experiences for both the public and schools audiences, has for some time used Techniquest’s outreach kits as a primary source of interactive engagement.
The recent partnership saw Techniquest manufacture a further two iterations of its maths kit for use across Malaysia.
Development Manager Rhys Evans said “We are very proud of the work that we are doing with Petrosains. Partnering with a world class institution that shares our desire to service the need for informal science learning outside of main city hubs is something we are very proud of.”
The partnership has seen Techniquest staff have travel to Malaysia to provide in depth science communication training and have been able to see first hand the work that is going on in more rural areas of Malaysia as well as in the flagship site in the Petronas Towers.
