Techniquest isn’t just for kids. It’s for big kids, too.
Join us for our adults-only event this August where you can enjoy over 100 hands-on science and technology exhibits, try out the Wallace & Gromit: All Systems Go AR Trail, meet real-life successful inventors Tim Brennan of Vivobarefoot and Nick Arnold of Ergochair Ltd. (sorry, Wallace), and indulge in some cheeese!
Book on to some extra activities to make it a grand night out. There’ll be a Wallace & Gromit-inspired live science show, trips to the moon and beyond in our Planetarium, plus a claystation workshop for Premium ticket holders, where you’ll make your very own Gromit model to take home with you.
And with Tŷ Caws on site, you’ll get to open your palate to the fantastic world of cheese — taste test hard, soft, and wash-rind cheeses and learn all about what gives them their unique flavours and textures from the Welsh experts with over 20 years of experience.

* Limited capacity. Brilliantly Bad Ideas live science shows at 7:45pm, 8:45pm and 9:45pm are available on a first-come, first-served basis on the night. Star Tours at 7:15pm, 7:45pm, 9:30pm and 10pm can be pre-booked when you purchase your admission tickets.
† A premium ticket guarantees entry into a Gromit Claystation Workshop and a Star Tour in the Planetarium. 7pm admissions will start their workshop at 7.30pm and their Star Tour at either 9pm or 10pm, depending on when your ticket was booked (please check your email confirmation). 7.30pm admissions will start their Star Tour at 8.15pm and their workshop at 9pm. Please arrive at your workshop on the second floor at least 5 minutes before the start time.
