Victims — er, we mean visitors — are invited into our enchanting Ghoul School.
Our live science ghosts hosts will lure you into lessons on how to make this Halloween an absolute scream.
Learn how to use science and technology trickery to set an eerie atmosphere, make a terrifying entrance and end your spooky celebrations with a bang.
Attend our Ghoul School at your own risk. It’s a hair-raising experience!

Aimed at children aged 5+ but everyone is welcome. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
If you have pacemaker or other implanted medical device, we will advise you to sit towards the back of the Science Theatre as one of the demonstrations generates an electrical field, which may affect some devices.
If you are a wheelchair user and you also have pacemaker or other implanted medical device, unfortunately we would not be able to admit you to this particular show, as the wheelchair spaces in the Science Theatre are very close to the stage.
There is a loud bang at the end of this show. Ear defenders will be given out before the show starts, and plenty of warnings will be given before the bang.
There is space for two wheelchairs (please select a wheelchair ticket when booking). Our Science Theatre is an enclosed area, but you can leave if you’d like to. Ear defenders are available on request. Sensory bags are available from the ticket desk (£20 refundable deposit, subject to availability).
Please note that every show ticket must be booked in conjunction with a valid admissions ticket. Availability is limited, so the best way to guarantee your space is to book in advance.

This is where we really bring science to life in front of your eyes.
Take a seat in our 90-person tiered auditorium, where our engaging presenter will show you some incredible experiments.
Depending on the show, they could involve ferocious fire, crazy chemicals, exciting explosions or ridiculous rocket launches!
Please note that we are able to accommodate 2 guests in wheelchairs per show.
