An enchanting planetarium show, especially for under-7s.
Little Bear can’t sleep, so she heads out of the den to look up at the night sky.
Join her as she plays dot-to-dot with the stars, spotting animals amongst the constellations. She’s searching for one special picture — a little bear just like her. “There must be a picture of me up there!”
This charming short 360° film, produced by Life Science Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne, will be followed by a mini star tour aimed at under-7s.
Our star tours are delivered by our knowledgeable and friendly presenters who will be more than happy to answer any cosmic questions at the end.

Aimed at under-7s but everyone is welcome. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
There is space for one wheelchair. Our planetarium is an enclosed area, but you can leave if you’d like to. During the show, the lights are dimmed. Ear defenders are available on request. Sensory bags are available from the ticket desk (£20 refundable deposit, subject to availability).
Please note that every show ticket must be booked in conjunction with a valid admissions ticket. Availability is limited, so the best way to guarantee your space is to book in advance.

Take a journey to a distant world in our 360° planetarium, whether that’s on the other side of our solar system or down in the depths of the ocean.
Depending on the show, it may be led by one of our presenters, or an immersive film to lose yourself in.
Please note that due to the snug size of the planetarium, we are only able to accommodate 1 guest in a wheelchair per show.
