The Magic of Science

Is it magic or science?

Step into the shoes of a wizard in this workshop, as you observe and carry out a range of ‘magic or science’ experiments!

Can you change something’s colour, or temperature, or even make something disappear?

• Minimum age requirement: 7+

  This activity is not suitable for children under 7. All children booked into the workshop must be accompanied by at least 1 paying adult. Children under 7 will not be admitted.

• Magnetic interference

  A van de graaf generator is used in this workshop. If you or any of your group wears a pacemaker/cochlea implant/any medical device using magnets, you may be risk of magnetic interference.

• Accessibility

  There is space for two wheelchairs. Our KLA Lab is an enclosed area, but you can leave if you’d like to. Sensory bags are available from the ticket desk (£20 refundable deposit, subject to availability).

• Tickets

  Please note that every workshop ticket must be booked in conjunction with a valid admissions ticket. Availability is limited, so the best way to guarantee your space is to book in advance.
