Toddler Day

On Toddler Days, pre-school children have exclusive run of the exhibits in a safe environment.

• The bright colours on the exhibition floor appeal to young children, who are encouraged to explore. Techniquest is buggy-friendly, with nappy-changing facilities and lockers available.
• We have a water area so it’s a good idea to bring a change of clothes for the little ones.
• Hot and cold drinks and snacks will be available to purchase from Coffee Mania. Please note that food and drinks cannot be consumed on the exhibition floor, however there is a Picnic area available for use. We regret that there will be no bottle or food warming facilities.
• You’re welcome to breastfeed on the exhibition floor, but if you would prefer to use a private space instead, then The Pod is available too.
  Babies at Techniquest will also give you more helpful information on bringing your youngest to visit us.

  Pull up a chair or lay on the cushioned floor in our cosy Book Nook to enjoy a hand-picked selection of Welsh and English books and interactive stories.

Storytime + Make & Take: Poles Apart

As everyone knows, penguins live in the South Pole and polar bears live at the North Pole, but what happens when penguins get lost?
Join us on an interactive sensory adventure, as we meet a family of penguins, travel all over the world looking for a picnic and make our very own snow people!

Monkey Music

Our friends from Monkey Music will be hosting sessions throughout the day.
Your little ones will discover new instruments and music in these popular workshops. These sessions are included in your Toddler Day entry but must be booked in advance to guarantee your space.

The scribbler is scribbling all over your book! What are we going to do?
Join us on an interactive sensory adventure, as we meet a superhero, discover some superpowers, and make your own hero mask to take away with you.
